Since I’ve been doing The Compassion Experience with Sandra Hillawi and practicing self compassion it’s made a monumental change in my relationship with myself and my partner. We are significantly more connected, happy, having more fun and intimacy.

Remind Someone of Who They Are
Yesterday I was at a low ebb with difficult life going on around me. I shared what was happening with a friend, about my loved ones in their cancer journeys.
Whilst he sympathised with me he went a lot further than that. He reminded me of who I am, my qualities, my past deeds, achievements, what I’ve come through.
It was a Star Moment. This helped me move through this back into my shining self. We have the power to do this for each other.
What My Rage Taught Me
What my rage taught me and why I’m thankful for it.
I’ve been meaning to write this experience for a while and finally have a moment.
It feels appropriate when there is so much violence and conflict in the world. Its hard to understand how some humans can commit such acts of violence on others. Somehow in doing this they must be disconnected from their humanity.
It leads me to reflect on an experience of my own.

Where The Light Comes
Where the light comes …
Today I set off by ferry and train from Gosport to Havant to see my lovely nephew. He met me at the train station and we went for a wander around Havant in the cold, though I was wrapped up in my heavy coat scarf and hat and my nephew had a few layers on with his usual shoulder bag strewn over his shoulder.
We went for a coffee and he bought us an amazing cake to share. Salted caramel chocolate cake. It was a divinely good…
