I wrote something today about two different ways people find their way back to themselves.
Two Pathways Back to My Self – Which Way Do I Choose?
As we grapple with the waves of life, our emotions show us how well we are handling it all.
When it’s a struggle, when we get blocked and stuck in our painful emotions there are two ways back
The direct way and the indirect way.
The Indirect Way
This is the way we are accustomed to. Lets see what happened that disconnected you from yourself, lets go to the places that hurt and lets heal them, with our loving attention, our masterful techniques to bring about healing and restore inner flow.
We tune in to the matrix of scar events and heal them, bringing the energy and compassionate attention needed to help bring about the movement from stuckness into flow.
That’s what we have all been doing for many years, still do and its still valid and powerful. The process however can be painful as we revisit, at least for a while, the painful past. You gotta feel it to heal it… as they say.
And then there’s another way …
The Direct Way
This is perhaps a newer way. Well, everything evolves.
We acknowledge that there are places within us that hurt still, allowing them to be there, for a moment more. And we also acknowledge that as well as the scars there are stars.
Yes, in our pain we forgot about them.
The stars are the moments of light, love, beauty, recognition, connection, happiness, empowerment, enlightenment and daily miracles. Even fleeting as they may be, they hold the key to the direct path back to our self.
In these star moments, as opposed to the scar moments, we are the closest to alignment with who we are. Even though short-lived, they hold our positive emotions, the emotions that arise from inner energy flow.
When we direct our attention here, not to heal, as healing is not needed here, but to enquire, to magnify, to maximise those positive emotions we discover and embody once again all that we are, our best self.
Its fun, its amazing, it’s a joy to behold.
It’s often moving to witness the shift that can come about when attention turns toward the stars rather than the scars.
Reconnecting with who we are, the I AM, with a cascade of positive emotions and truths creates this threshold shift within. We found the way back to our self.
Both pathways have their place. And over time it becomes clear that it is good to have mastery in both approaches.
Star Moments and Our Star Matrix
These moments of our life that make up the star moments are our star matrix. Just as there is a line of scars, our Scar Line, on our time line there is a line of stars too, our Star Line.
I still embrace the indirect healing approach when needed. Both are valid.
But its such a relief to the traumatised client to spend some time feeling good again, strengthening their light inside. With that strength they can be ready to begin to look at the darkness and with the resources now available to deal with it.
With their knowledge now of the empowering nature of star events, we can even discover stars in those darker times. Combined together stars can illuminate this darkness so its less threatening, less painful and sometimes even no longer a dark place at all.
This direct way is to discover our Star Matrix and to engage with Star Therapy, or Star Line Therapy work with a Star Therapist.
In my experience, both pathways have their place.
What matters is choice and the relief that comes when we remember there is more than one way back to ourselves.
For those who feel drawn to explore this work more deeply, personally or professionally, I offer one-to-one sessions and at times training spaces for practitioners who resonate with this approach. You’re welcome to explore further if and when it feels right.
